Get together with other individuals interested in intentional community Wednesday 11/21/2012 from 7pm to 9pm at the Kailash Ecovillage, 4311 SE 37th Ave., Portland, Oregon 97202.
Last meeting we had a tour of Kailash’s recycling and waste reclamation facilities, then discussed two topics of seven that were submitted. The topics of discussion were “What are the Seed Meeting values?” and “How can you provide security and eliminate dead wood?”. Discussion topics are determined by a democratic vote at the beginning of the meeting, so come prepared with a topic or two you’d like to discuss.
You’re invited to bring finger food to share. Out of respect for Kailash policies, please bring only vegan foods and remove your shoes as you enter the meeting space.
The purpose of this seed group is to form connections with others interested in intentional community of all types, from ecovillages to community supported agriculture projects, either rural or urban. We will not focus on any one project, but share information, resources, and provide a space for people with similar vision to meet and talk. Our hope is that many projects will incubate from this group. We plan to meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month, space permitting. Any project groups that form may end up meeting more or less frequently at their own discretion.
